Tractor Drivers can attend the Kansas City Security Summit

The Midwest Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit, organized by the University of Kansas, will be held on December 16-17 of 2025 at the Loews Kansas City Hotel in Kansas City, a portal for track drivers GoCDL.us informs
This free two-day event aims to share ideas on improving highway safety, with an emphasis on the participation of truck drivers who drive the most kilometers.
The summit is scheduled to open at 8:30 a.m. on December 16 with the participation of FMCSA Administrator Derek Barrs and Regional Administrator Vince Lenfert.
The program includes sessions on topics such as the Truck Rental Group, safety technologies, drug and alcohol prevention, accident research, transportation economics, automation, speeding prevention, combating human trafficking, cargo theft and freight fraud, as well as the impact of electronic loggers (ELD).
