The Bust: Near London, Ohio, troopers stopped a semi-trailer for inspection. After noticing “criminal indicators,” they deployed a drug-sniffing K9.
The Discovery: The canine alerted to the vehicle, leading to a search that uncovered 154 pounds (70 kg) of cocaine concealed inside wooden cabinets within the trailer.
Street Value: The seized drugs have an estimated street value of approximately $6.3 million.
The Numbers: Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) reported that in 2025 alone, they confiscated a staggering 1,607 pounds of cocaine on state roadways.
Charges: The driver, 46-year-old Omar Gonzalez-Flores of Mexico, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree felony drug possession.
